Position: Warehouse Supervisor

Contract Type: Permanent – 45 hours

Location: Pocklington

Shift: Dayshift / Mon-Fri / 5am-3pm

Salary: £31,400

About this role:

This role ensures the safe and efficient throughput of traffic within various sortation areas, in accordance with work area requirements. It requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail. As a physically demanding role in a busy warehouse operating at full speed, your attentiveness will ensure parcels reach customers on time.

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Management & reconciliation of warehouse activities (deliveries, Holdbay, etc.)
• Efficient management of bulk/return deliveries with C&D and LGV fleet
• Support bulk collection customer planning
• Support LGV transport rules & regulations
• Effective deployment of operational resources according to work area requirements
• Ensure KPI targets are achieved or exceeded
• Attend training and personal development courses

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory or similar role
• Knowledge of resource management and deployment
• Excellent communication skills for operational information exchange
• Good IT skills
