About The Role

Reporting to site management, the Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily operations at a distribution facility in Yate. Working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, the post-holder allocates workloads, monitors team performance and ensures goods are stored, handled and moved correctly. Duties include supervising and training staff, managing stock, materials and equipment, and maintaining health and safety standards. Applicants should demonstrate proven supervisory experience within a warehouse or logistics setting, strong organisational skills and the ability to lead a team. This full-time, permanent contract offers a salary of £35,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Hours

Duties

• Overseeing warehouse processes and ensuring procedures are followed correctly
• Assisting with fleet management and vehicle coordination where required
• Maintaining accurate warehouse records and documentation
• Using Excel to manage and monitor warehouse information

• Identifying and resolving day-to-day operational issues
• Reporting any issues or concerns to senior management
• Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, organised and secure
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed

Requirements

• Previous warehouse supervisory or management experience
• Good working knowledge of Excel
• SAP experience would be a strong advantage
• Previous fleet management experience would be preferable
