Job summary

Cromwell Group (Holdings) Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to organise and supervise staff in the warehouse, ensuring safe and efficient operations. The role includes maintaining stock integrity, enforcing health and safety standards, and overseeing the vehicle fleet and deliveries.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in a warehouse, a full driving licence, and IT system familiarity. A forklift licence is desirable and a commitment to development is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of industrial supplies would be advantageous.
• Self-motivated with a dedicated approach.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• A full and valid driving licence is essential.
• Forklift license is desirable.
• Experience with IT systems and comfort with technology.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and monitor performance; provide support as needed.
• Ensure stock integrity is maintained.
• Keep the warehouse area clean, safe and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Ensure goods are stored and transported safely and in line with regulatory responsibilities.
• Keep the warehouse and trade counter clean, safe and efficient.
• Ensure company vans are clean, roadworthy and correctly serviced.
• Record van mileages daily and ensure fleet usage aligns with the Vehicle Policy.

Job description

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our branch.

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll organise and supervise staff within the warehouse to ensure that the Warehouse operates safely and efficiently at all times.

What would you do on a normal day?

• To ensure that all warehouse staff are aware of their responsibilities, monitoring staff performance and providing relevant support
• To ensure that stock integrity is maintained
• To ensure that the warehouse area is kept a clean and safe environment, mitigating any health and safety risks
• To ensure that all goods are stored and transported in a safe and correct manner, in line with regulatory responsibilities
• Ensure that the warehouse and trade counter are clean, safe and efficiently operated
• To ensure that all company vans are clean, roadworthy and correctly serviced at all times.
• To take responsibility for ensuring that van mileages are recorded accurately on a daily basis and fleet usage is in line with the Company Vehicle Policy.

What are we looking for?

• Previous supervisory experience gained within a warehouse environment
