Job summary

Frasers Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead and develop Warehouse Operatives and Trainee Supervisors, coaching and managing performance to achieve operational targets.

Work closely with the Section Manager and Warehouse Leadership to meet demand on time, maintain safety standards, and support culture change initiatives to reduce turnover.

Qualifications

• Experience in Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Direct line management and coaching of Warehouse Operatives / Trainee Supervisors including 1:1's to discuss performance versus expectation, identifying SMART goals when performance not met.
• Work with the Section Manager for your department to monitor delivery to plan and key areas for your shift.
• Drive performance on key metrics ensuring an efficient warehouse operation which can fulfill customer web and store demand on time and in full.
• Drive the highest standards of safety on site, working with the Safety team to ensure adherence to all safety routines/procedures.
• Review weekly labour plan to ensure cover is adequate, sharing with Section Manager, highlighting issues/feedback.
• Provide detail when daily/weekly targets are not met and create plan to bridge.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Leadership team to ensure strategic activity stays on track.
• Support successful implementation of culture change and turnover reduction.

The Role:

As a Supervisor within our warehouse, you'll be responsible for leading and developing Warehouse Operatives and Trainee Supervisors, providing coaching, performance management, and support to achieve operational goals. Working closely with the Section Manager and wider Warehouse Leadership team, the position focuses on delivering key performance metrics, ensuring customer demand is met on time and in full, maintaining the highest safety standards, managing labour planning, addressing performance gaps with clear action plans, and supporting culture change initiatives to improve engagement and reduce turnover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct line management and coaching of Warehouse Operatives / Trainee Supervisors including 1:1's to discuss performance vs expectation, identifying SMART goals when performance not met in any of the key functional areas within responsibility
• Working with theSection Manager for your department to monitordelivery to plan and key areas for your shift improve
• Driving performance on key metrics ensuring an efficient warehouse operation which can fulfill customer web and store demand on time and in full
• Drivingthe highest standards of safety on site, working with the Safety team to ensure adherence to all safety routines/procedures (e.g. Floor Safety Inspections, Hazard Spotting, Safety Gembas, Risk Assessments, Audits)
• Reviewing weekly labour plan to ensure cover is adequate, sharing with Section Manager, highlighting issues/feedback.
• Providing detail when daily/weekly targets are not met and creating plan to bridge
• Alongside the Warehouse Leadership team, you'll partner withother key stakeholders to ensure all strategic activity is on track and supported
• Supporting the successful implementation of culture change and turnover reduction
