Job summary

Frontline Recruitment Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor at the Newark-on-Trent site. You will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure accuracy and safety compliance, and drive performance.

We are looking for hands-on leaders who can train and motivate teams, manage shipping/receiving, and monitor stock using a WMS. The role is permanent, full-time with development opportunities and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role within logistics, distribution, or 3PL environments.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes, stock control, and health & safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Mechanically minded and proactive in maintaining equipment standards.
• Highly organised with attention to detail and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to company policies and safety standards
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse operatives to achieve team performance targets
• Manage the timely and accurate shipping and receiving of goods
• Monitor inventory and generate reports using Warehouse Management System (WMS) software
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure equipment is properly maintained
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Enforce safe working practices, including correct manual handling and forklift operations
