Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our Tonbridge site. You will oversee day-to-day warehouse and production operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and high standards across the site.

You will work alongside Line Leaders and cross-functional teams to meet production targets, manage staffing and maintain strict health and safety practices. The role requires strong leadership and excellent communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the warehouse and production operations.
• Supervise, support and manage Line Leaders, ensuring effective leadership.
• Monitor production performance, productivity and targets; address issues.
• Ensure staffing levels across the operation and assist with resource planning.
• Ensure production schedules are followed and deadlines achieved.
• Monitor quality; ensure products meet customer specs.
• Maintain Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, GMP and hygiene standards.
• Ensure staff follow PPE, clothing, hand washing and safe working practices.
• Identify and resolve operational issues; escalate as needed.
• Monitor waste, damage and productivity; seek improvements.
• Complete paperwork and Prophet system updates.
• Communicate with Planning, Warehouse, QC and Production Mgmt.
• Train, develop and manage staff performance.
• Lead by example; promote a positive working environment.
• Provide operational cover and support for colleagues as required.

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

£15.03 per hour during training | £16.47 per hour following successful completion of training

Location: Tonbridge, TN12 9

Hours:06:30 - 18:30 4 days on / 3 days off

Are you an experienced warehouse or production professional with strong leadership skills and the confidence to oversee a busy operation?

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Tonbridge, taking responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse and production operations, supporting Line Leaders and ensuring everything runs safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

THE ROLE

As Warehouse Supervisor, you will take responsibility for overseeing the wider warehouse operation, ensuring production lines are running effectively, teams are working efficiently and operational targets are achieved.

You will work closely with Line Leaders, Warehouse, Planning, Quality Control and Production Management to ensure the smooth running of the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the warehouse and production operations.
• Supervise, support and manage Line Leaders, ensuring they are effectively leading their teams.
• Monitor production performance, productivity and operational targets, addressing any issues as they arise.
• Ensure sufficient staffing levels across the operation and support with resource planning where required.
• Ensure production schedules are followed and operational deadlines are achieved.
• Monitor quality standards, ensuring products meet customer specifications and requirements.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, GMP and hygiene throughout the warehouse.
• Ensure all staff follow site procedures, including PPE, clothing, hand washing and safe working practices.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating concerns to management where necessary.
• Monitor waste, damage and productivity, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure accurate completion of paperwork, production records and Prophet system updates.
• Work closely with Planning, Warehouse, Quality Control and Production Management to maintain effective communication.
• Support the training, development and performance management of staff.
• Lead by example, promoting a positive, professional and productive working environment.
• Provide operational cover and support for colleagues when required.

ABOUT YOU
