Job summary

Fairfax Meadow, part of Sysco GB, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor at our Derby site to lead the dispatch team and own the day-to-day operation. You'll manage shifts from 14:00 to 23:00, ensure targets are met, and help maintain safety, quality and timely deliveries.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you’ll motivate colleagues, develop skills, and drive standards across the warehouse. If you’re a confident, organised leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, this would be the challenge

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar supervisory role, ideally within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team effectively.
• Proactive, organised approach with focus on meeting targets.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day operation and dispatch processes.
• Lead and motivate the warehouse team to meet targets and standards.
• Support development of team skills and maintain a positive work environment.

Working Hours: 14:00 - 23:00 working any 5 from 7 days.

Salary: up to £35,734 per annum (dependent on experience)

Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day operation, lead and motivate the team, and help drive standards across the warehouse. You'll also play an important role in developing your team’s skills and knowledge, creating a positive working environment, and ensuring we deliver against our targets.
