Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Shift: 4ON 4OFF - 07:00am-19:00pm

Salary: £29,590 per annum

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Company’s Health & Safety policy through safe systems of work, good housekeeping, and training to promote safety awareness.
• Support HR policies and procedures, including absence, performance, and disciplinary processes.
• Assist Senior Managers in daily operations and resolving warehouse issues.
• Schedule and supervise warehouse staff activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain records of team performance and inform managers of operational disruptions.
• Organize training and development, evaluate effectiveness, and promote continuous improvement.
• Provide feedback on performance and behavioral issues, highlighting areas for development.
• Manage attendance levels and ensure adequate staffing coverage.
• Participate actively in management team discussions, contributing to problem-solving and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising or team leading roles.
• Flexibility to cover various warehouse areas.
• Attention to detail and initiative-taking ability.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; knowledge of on-site systems (WMS training provided).
• Drive for career progression, flexibility in work and shift patterns.
• Strong leadership, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to network with suppliers and customers.
