Vibe Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a busy operation in Banbury. This role offers a permanent opportunity and a chance to lead a small team in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee daily warehouse activities, manage stock, coordinate picking, packing and dispatch, and drive safety and efficiency across the site. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience and strong IT and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising warehouse staff in logistics.
• Experience with stock management and inventory control systems.
• Strong IT skills including Excel and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervising, supporting and motivating warehouse staff, allocating daily tasks and monitoring performance.
• Managing stock control, cycle counts, stock audits and inventory accuracy.
• Coordinating order picking, packing, processing and dispatch to meet customer requirements.
• Monitoring KPIs, productivity and operational performance.
• Identifying opportunities to improve warehouse processes and operational efficiency.
• Developing and maintaining SOPs.
• Working closely with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of goods.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety, housekeeping and organisation.

The Role

As Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring operations run smoothly, orders are fulfilled accurately and the team works safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising, supporting and motivating warehouse staff, allocating daily tasks and monitoring performance.

• Managing stock control, cycle counts, stock audits and inventory accuracy.

• Coordinating order picking, packing, processing and dispatch to meet customer requirements.

• Monitoring KPIs, productivity and operational performance.

• Identifying opportunities to improve warehouse processes and operational efficiency.

• Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Working closely with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of goods.

• Maintaining high standards of health and safety, housekeeping and organisation.

What We're Looking For

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within a warehouse, logistics or transport environment.

• Experience with stock management and inventory control systems.

• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

• The ability to motivate a team, manage priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
