Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Avonmouth is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to lead a busy distribution team on a 3 on 3 off shift pattern (18:00 – 06:00).

You will coach, motivate and engage the team to maximise productivity, safety and on-time performance, while driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of managing a large operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement.
• Positive, people-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills.

• Drive performance through effective monitoring of coaching and performance
• Review all aspects of shift performance, identifying areas for improvement to ensure efficient and accurate process

Here at GXO, we are recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Manager to join our team in Avonmouth, supporting our customer, Amazon.

As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading your own team, helping to coach, motivate and engage them to create a great team culture with a strong work ethic.

This is a full time, permanent position, working a 3 on 3 off shift pattern, 18:00 – 06:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £48,667.50 per annum, and 20 days annual leave.
