Job summary

Saica Group is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager for the Livingston site. You will lead a busy warehouse and despatch operation within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring safety, accuracy and efficiency across shifts.

You will oversee goods receipt, stock control and customer despatch while guiding a small team, liaising with 3PLs and customers, and driving continuous improvement in performance and reporting.

Lead Warehouse & Dispatch Operations for a Global Sustainable Packaging Business

Saica Pack, part of the Saica Group, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to join our Livingston site.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a busy warehouse and despatch operation within a fast-paced manufacturing environment while contributing to a business that places sustainability and innovation at the heart of its success.

Working a rotating shift pattern (Dayshift, Backshift and Nightshift), you'll manage a team of Warehouse Operatives and ensure that goods are handled, stored and despatched safely, accurately and efficiently.

The Role

Reporting into the Operations team, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of warehouse and despatch activities, ensuring excellent service levels, stock accuracy and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate warehouse and despatch operations on shift.

About You

We're looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys working in a fast-moving operational environment and has a proven track record within warehouse or despatch management.

Essential Experience

• Warehouse management or supervisory experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading and developing operational teams.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and stock-control processes.
• SAP Super User experience.
• Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• A strong commitment to health, safety and operational excellence.
