Job summary

The Sofa Delivery Company (part of the DFS Group) is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a high performing team in a fast paced, customer‑focused delivery operation. You will oversee the Customer Delivery Centre, support warehouse and driving teams, recruit and onboard new colleagues, and ensure compliance and high service standards.

Responsibilities

• From supporting Warehouse and Driving teams to ensuring compliance and high service standards, lead the heart of operations.
• Oversee daily operations of the Customer Delivery Centre (CDC).
• Ensure every delivery is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Support the Customer Delivery Manager in building strong customer relationships.
• Lead, coach and develop your team to deliver their best work.
• Manage compliance for vehicles, trailers and driver regulations.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
