About the Role

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to coordinate our daily logistics requirements. The ideal candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices and a solid understanding of warehouse procedures, including the storage and dispatch of volume orders and goods.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist operational management by initiating, monitoring, and reporting on warehousing activities and staff performance during your shift.
2. Manage and implement productivity improvements by communicating job expectations to staff, monitoring stock movement, and ensuring all deadlines are met safely and efficiently, maintaining high standards.
3. Track and trace orders using digital in-house tracking software, ensuring records are accurate and up-to-date.
4. Monitor recruitment levels and facilitate staff training, keeping records aligned with company policies.

Candidate Requirements

We welcome applications from individuals with the following experience, but encourage all talent and potential:

• Practical experience as a shift manager within a logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain practices.
• Experience in preparing and distributing volume orders.
• Proficiency in logistics software and computer literacy.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and train staff.

A recognized qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is preferred.
