Job Overview

Are you experienced in leading, managing, encouraging, and empowering teams, especially in fast-paced, unionized environments? Sainsbury’s is seeking a Warehouse Team Manager to join our Operational Execution, Supply Chain & Logistics team at our distribution centre.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage daily warehouse activities, including resource allocation, capability, and utilization.
  2. Ensure consistent business performance and standards across warehouse operations.
  3. Manage external relationships with stakeholders, including stores.
  4. Identify efficiencies and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  5. Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and processes.
  6. Support our People Plan through HR initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
  • Understanding of legislation, policies, and processes related to people management, safety, and environment.
  • Proven ability to inspire and lead large teams to achieve results.
