Job summary

Lidl GB is opening a new RDC in Leeds and is looking for a Shift Leader to help run operations in a temperature-controlled warehouse. You will lead by example on opening, running and closing shifts, and train new starters while fostering teamwork and motivation.

The role offers a competitive £30,000-£37,000 salary along with a benefits package including holiday entitlement and staff discounts, plus ongoing training and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Line manage an amazing team, supporting development, coaching and training.
• Lead shifts for your area, monitor colleague performance and direct reports.
• Coordinate with other Shift Leaders to ensure smooth operations across the RDC.
• Support the Department Manager with daily operations and personnel management.
• Motivate and support your team in line with company values.
• Mentor colleagues and support training across the shift.
• Identify and address inefficiencies; promote efficient working methods.
• Carry out general warehouse duties like moving stock, picking goods and processing returns.
