Job summary

Gist Ltd. in Thornbury, Bristol is seeking a Warehouse Section Leader to support the day-to-day operations across the shift.

You will coordinate warehouse activity, assist with attendance and people processes, monitor KPIs, and provide clear direction to ensure safe, accurate and timely goods flow. This hands-on role requires experience in fast-paced warehousing and the ability to work closely with the Warehouse Shift Manager.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse/operational experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to coordinate activity and support colleagues.
• Comfort with reporting and using KPIs to drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Support daily resource planning to ensure the right people are in the right areas.
• Coordinate warehouse and outbound activity to move products safely and on time.
• Monitor KPIs and support actions to improve performance.
• Produce and maintain operational reports using systems and MS Office.
• Assist with sickness, holidays and attendance on the shift.
• Provide clear communication and direction to colleagues on priorities and standards.
• Support induction and development of new starters and training requirements.
• Identify issues or risks and work with the team to resolve them quickly.
