Gist Limited in Hemel Hempstead (Foods) is seeking a Warehouse Section Leader to support daily shift operations, resource planning and performance monitoring. You will ensure safe, efficient workflows, coordinate outbound activities and provide clear direction to colleagues.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership on shift, attendance support, and people-related processes, with a strong focus on safety and operational standards. 4 on 4 off pattern and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• > Proven experience in warehouse/logistics or fast-paced environments.
• > Understanding of warehouse operations and changing priorities.
• > Proficiency with reports and operational information in MS Office.
• > Familiarity with KPIs and performance measurements.
• > Comfortable using a Warehouse Management System (SAP) and similar tools.
• > Strong communication and leadership on shift.

Responsibilities

• > Support daily resource planning to ensure the right people are in the right areas.
• > Coordinate warehouse and outbound activity to move products safely and on time.
• > Monitor KPIs and assist actions to improve performance.
• > Produce and maintain operational reports.
• > Support attendance and people-related processes on the shift.
• > Provide clear direction and ensure safety and compliance.
• > Assist induction and development of new starters and training requirements.
• > Help resolve operational issues quickly with the wider team.
