A Warehouse Shift Manager role is available in Doncaster on behalf of a prestigious client. The position focuses on leading a high-performing warehouse team, driving performance, and delivering operational excellence with potential for a permanent contract.

Salary is up to £20.51 per hour (approx £40,000 annually) with weekly pay, 08:00-16:00 shifts, and a pathway to permanent employment. Site includes car parking and an on-site canteen, with 28 holidays and pension eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience as Warehouse Shift Manager or similar leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage and develop teams.
• Strong performance management and coaching skills.
• Confidence handling HR matters in an operational setting.
• Proactive mindset to challenge norms and drive improvements.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop warehouse teams to hit targets.
• Drive performance through coaching, feedback and clear KPIs.
• Manage day-to-day HR matters including attendance and conduct.
• Challenge processes to improve productivity, efficiency and service levels.
• Ensure KPIs are met with high safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments for smooth operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
• Maintain compliance with policies and health and safety procedures.
