Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Doncaster is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager for a Monday–Friday night shift to lead a busy logistics operation. You will manage day-to-day warehouse activities, drive performance against targets, monitor KPIs and ensure health & safety standards are maintained.

The role is hands-on and offers genuine opportunities for a permanent contract, with weekly pay and a supportive team environment at a large international client site.

Qualifications

• Experience in a First Line Manager, Team Leader or Supervisor role within logistics, warehousing or manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing and motivating a warehouse team.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate warehouse operatives to achieve daily targets.
• Manage day-to-day team performance, productivity and attendance.
• Allocate workloads and resources effectively across the shift.
• Monitor KPIs and take action where performance falls below expectations.
• Coach and develop team members to improve performance and capability.
• Conduct team briefings and communicate operational requirements clearly.
• Support the Shift Manager with day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Ensure company procedures, quality standards and health & safety requirements are followed.
• Identify operational issues and escalate them appropriately.
• Support investigations relating to attendance, conduct and performance.
• Work closely with other departments to maintain smooth operations.

• Provide flexibility and support during periods of increased workload.

We are recruiting for an experienced First Line Manager for Monday - Friday Night shift to join a busy logistics operation in Doncaster. Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a warehouse team, ensuring operational targets, productivity, quality and health & safety standards are consistently achieved.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with their team, driving performance and maintaining high operational standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a First Line Manager, Team Leader or Supervisory role within logistics, warehousing or manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing and motivating a warehouse team.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and performance management.
• Confident monitoring KPIs and driving performance against targets.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive, hands‑on approach to leadership.
• Ability to manage priorities and remain calm in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfortable addressing performance, attendance and conduct issues.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional weekends when required.

What's on Offer

Salary from £17.81 per hour, equivalent of £31,000 yearly salary + 12% shift allowance

Weekly Pay

Monday to Friday Night Shift, working hours 22:00 till 06:00

Due to fluctuations in operational volumes, flexibility to work weekends may occasionally be required.

Minimum 6-month assignment with the potential to secure a permanent position.
