Lidl is seeking a Shift Leader to run operations in one of our warehouses in the United Kingdom. You will lead a team, coach staff, and work closely with other Shift Leaders to ensure smooth daily performance and high standards.

You’ll support the Department Manager with operations, mentor colleagues, and promote efficient working methods while managing shifts and performance. A comprehensive benefits package and ongoing training are provided.

• Line manage an amazing team, supporting them with all the development, coaching and training they need to succeed
• Lead the shifts for your area, taking responsibility for colleague performance and your direct reports
• Work closely with other Shift Leaders within your department and across the RDC to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the operations
• Support your Department Manager with daily operations and personnel management
• Motivate and support your team, learning from our Company Values
• Mentor your colleagues and supporting your team's training
• Proactively promote efficient working methods, highlighting inefficiencies when you spot them
• Efficiently perform general warehouse operative duties like moving stock, picking goods and processing returns

• £30,000 - £37,000 per annum
• 40 hours contract
• Night Shift: 21:30 - 06:00
• Working any 5 out of 7
• Training of minimum 1 month to be completed on day shift
• 30-35 days' holiday (pro rata)
