Job summary

Lidl GB in Doncaster is seeking a Shift Leader to help run warehouse operations. You will open, run and close shifts, train new starters and support your team across your shift to foster teamwork and efficiency.

Offering a 40 hour contract with a salary of £30,000–£37,000 per year, the role runs 11:00 to 21:00 and allows working any 5 days out of 7. Benefits include holiday, discount, pension and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Line manage an amazing team, supporting them with all the development, coaching and training they need to succeed
• Lead the shifts for your area, taking responsibility for colleague performance and your direct reports
• Work closely with other Shift Leaders within your department and across the RDC to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the operations
• Support your Department Manager with daily operations and personnel management
• Motivate and support your team, learning from our Company Values
• Mentor your colleagues and supporting your team’s training
• Proactively promote efficient working methods, highlighting inefficiencies when you spot them
• Efficiently perform general warehouse operative duties like moving stock, picking goods and processing returns
