Job summary

Millbrook Healthcare is hiring a Warehouse Service Technician for our Normandy-based Surrey Community Equipment Service Centre. You will manage stock, label, pack, log equipment and support installers, with weekend rota as needed.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, strong communication, and computer literacy for stock systems. Benefits include a company pension, life assurance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a rewards/discounts program.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse/decontamination experience is desirable, but training is provided.
  • Full UK driving licence is required.
  • Computer-literate with use of stock management systems.
  • Able to work on an ad-hoc weekend rota.

Responsibilities

  • Stock management including labelling and logging of equipment.
  • Picking, packing and loading equipment to assist the installers.
  • Logging special orders and communicating receipts to the customer services team.
  • Updating of order and stock systems with use of scanner.
  • Quarantine, sterilise and re-pack equipment and ensure paperwork is documented, logged and filed.
  • Decontamination of community equipment.
  • Maintenance and housekeeping of the service centre, including repairs and PAT testing.
  • Possible to assist field-based Installation Technicians occasionally.
  • Excellent communication with team and external suppliers.

Job description

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Service Technician to join the team within our Surrey Community Equipment Service Centre, based in Normandy. This is an exciting opportunity where you'll be working as part of engaged and motivated team, for a company committed to reward and recognition for a job well done. Millbrook Healthcare work in partnership with the NHS to supply the necessary equipment and aids to support people in their day to day life. About the role:

  • Stock management including labelling and logging of equipment
  • Picking, packing and loading equipment to assist with the installers
  • Logging special orders and communicating receipts to the customer services team
  • Updating of order and stock systems with use of scanner
  • Quarantine, sterilise and re-pack equipment and ensure paperwork is documented, logged and filed
  • Decontamination of community equipment
  • Day to day efficient running of the warehouse and decon areas
  • Maintenance and housekeeping of the service centre, including in some cases repairs of equipment including PAT testing
  • You will be required to participate in an ad-hoc weekend rota
  • You may be required to assist the field-based Installation Technicians on occasion and there will be a requirement to load and Previous warehouse/decontamination experience is desirable however full training will be provided
  • Computer literate - previous experience of using stock management systems would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with the team and external suppliers
  • Keen to develop within the role and company
  • Hard working, driven and motivated
  • Full UK driving licence is required £25,468.10 per annum
  • Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00
