Job summary

Millbrook Healthcare is seeking a Warehouse Operative at our Lincolnshire Community Equipment Service Centre. You’ll work as part of a motivated team, decontaminating community equipment and ensuring the smooth daily operation of the warehouse and decon areas.

Responsibilities include stock management, picking, packing and loading for installers, logging orders, updating stock systems with a scanner, and occasional weekend rota. Full training will be provided and a driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse/decontamination experience is desirable; training provided.
• Computer literacy and experience with stock systems advantageous.
• Excellent communication with team and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination of community equipment.
• Day-to-day efficient running of the warehouse and decon areas.
• Stock management including labeling and logging of equipment.
• Picking, packing and loading equipment for installers.
• Logging special orders and communicating receipts to customer services.
• Updating order and stock systems with scanner.
• Quarantine, sterilise and re-pack equipment with documented paperwork.
• Maintenance and housekeeping of the service centre; possible repairs and PAT testing.
• Ad-hoc weekend rota participation.
• Occasional support to field-based Installation Technicians.

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join the team within our Lincolnshire Community Equipment Service Centre.

About the role:

• Decontamination of community equipment
• Day to day efficient running of the warehouse and decon areas
• Stock management including labelling and logging of equipment
• Picking, packing and loading equipment to assist with the installers
• Logging special orders and communicating receipts to the customer services team
• Updating of order and stock systems with use of scanner
• Quarantine, sterilise and re-pack equipment and ensure paperwork is documented, logged and filed
• Maintenance and housekeeping of the service centre, including in some cases repairs of equipment including PAT testing
• You will be required to participate in an ad-hoc weekend rota
• You may be required to assist the field-based Installation Technicians on occasion

What are we looking for?

• Previous warehouse/decontamination experience is desirable however full training will be provided
• Computer literate – previous experience of using stock management systems would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills to interact with the team and external suppliers
• Keen to develop within the role and company
• Hard working, driven and motivated
• Full UK driving licence is preferred
