We are actively seeking warehousing, production, and manufacturing distribution professionals with a passion for warehousing operations for a new role as a Warehouse & Production Manager in Nottinghamshire!

Client Details

Our client is a market-leading producer of high-end manufacturing machinery distributed worldwide. With approximately 61 production and distribution sites across Europe, the USA, and the Far East, you will join a fast-paced environment in a new production and distribution logistics hub with around 50 colleagues across warehousing, dispatch, and production.

Job Description

As a Warehouse & Production Manager, reporting to the UK Operations Director, your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing 40-50 warehouse & production colleagues across a Monday to Friday operation.
2. Overseeing a warehouse of over 120,000 sq.ft. with a mixed production and dispatch operation handling high-value manufactured goods.
3. Managing a team comprising a Production Supervisor, a Dispatch Manager, an Inventory Manager, and 30-50 team members.
4. Full budgetary P&L responsibility, achieving targets KPI's, and ensuring on-time, in-full delivery.
5. Motivating productivity and cost targets while maintaining customer service excellence.
6. Reviewing processes to identify improvements and leading change initiatives.
7. Leading talent reviews and succession planning.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in production and/or warehousing operations and possess:

1. At least 5 years' experience managing production or warehousing in a manufacturing setting.
2. Experience managing over 30 colleagues in a logistics environment.
3. Ideally NEBOSH or IOSH qualification.
4. Ability to commute daily to Nottinghamshire.
