Job description

The Company:

An established Ladies fashion brand offers an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to join their expanding team.

The Role:

1. Oversee the production process, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met.
2. Maintain and work with the critical path to ensure timely delivery.
3. Plan and monitor production schedules, adjusting them as necessary.
4. Collaborate closely with the in-house sample room team and quality control departments.
5. Coordinate with fabric suppliers and oversee fabric bulk deliveries.
6. Create and execute daily and weekly production schedules.
7. Manage all communication with factories to provide daily production status updates.
8. Ensure all required testing on bulk reports and approvals are completed.
9. Manage relationships with factories, troubleshooting costing and quality control challenges alongside design teams and resolving issues with vendors.
10. Maintain high quality standards across all ranges.
11. Ensure production is cost-effective.
12. Strategically manage vendors to meet sample deadlines.
13. Ensure deliveries are timely and of the highest quality.
14. Estimate costs and set quality standards.
15. Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
16. Oversee the selection and maintenance of equipment, ensuring safety and quality.
17. Implement quality-control programs and monitor product standards.
18. Coordinate among departments such as Design and Merchandising.
19. Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed.
20. Supervise and motivate the production team.

Skills Required:

1. Experience in a similar role within the industry.
2. Strong time and people management skills.
3. Project management experience.
4. Ability to prepare reports and plan effectively.
5. Good knowledge of the production process.
6. Excellent organizational and planning skills.
