Job summary

Clarks Distribution Centre is seeking an Inventory & Planning Manager to lead stock control, planning, and warehouse optimisation. You will drive inventory accuracy, audits, and KPI reporting while partnering with Finance and Operations to enhance service levels and cost control.

You will manage the Inventory team, streamline processes, and implement improvements across WMS, SAP and automated storage systems in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory management, warehouse operations or supply chain planning.
• Strong knowledge of WMS and ERP systems including SAP.
• Advanced analytical skills with experience using Excel and Power BI.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and manage cross-functional relationships.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Own inventory accuracy across WMS, SAP and automated storage systems.
• Lead cycle counts, stock audits and reconciliation processes.
• Investigate inventory variances and implement preventative actions.
• Manage warehouse location planning, capacity utilisation and stock positioning.
• Develop KPI reporting using Power BI, Excel and operational dashboards.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Merchandising and Supply Chain teams.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit standards and company procedures.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that reduce stock loss and improve productivity.
• Coach, develop and performance manage the Inventory team.
