Job summary

ACS Recruitment Solutions Ltd is recruiting Parcel Sorting Operatives for a busy international parcel hub in Lutterworth. The role offers £12.71 per hour, temp-to-perm progression and no Saturday work.

You will work with automated conveyor belts, sort parcels to correct routes and destinations, scan and handle items, and support a fast-paced logistics team while maintaining safety and accuracy. Shift patterns may require 5 days out of 7 with start times at 10:00 or 12:00, and flexibility is

Responsibilities

• Sorting parcels onto the correct routes, destinations and dispatch areas.
• Working alongside automated conveyor belts and parcel sorting equipment.
• Loading, unloading and moving parcels safely around the centre.
• Scanning and handling parcels accurately.
• Identifying incorrectly sorted or damaged parcels and reporting issues.
• Working with your team to meet daily processing and dispatch targets.

We’re recruiting reliable and hardworking Parcel Sorting Operatives to join a busy international parcel sorting centre in Lutterworth!

Working in a fast-paced environment with modern automated conveyor belt systems, you’ll help ensure parcels are sorted onto the correct routes and prepared for dispatch to destinations around the world.

What will you be doing?

• Sorting parcels onto the correct routes, destinations and dispatch areas.
• Working alongside automated conveyor belts and parcel sorting equipment.
• Loading, unloading and moving parcels safely around the centre.
• Scanning and handling parcels accurately.

Shift patterns

• Location: Lutterworth.
• Pay rate: £12.71 per hour.
• Working days: Sunday to Friday – no Saturday working.
• Shift patterns: Potentially 5 days out of 7, or specific fixed days depending on operational requirements.
• Start times: 10:00 or 12:00.
• Shift duration: Approximately 8–12 hours, depending on the shift and operational needs.

Flexibility is essential, as working days and finishing times may vary depending on the allocated shift pattern.
