Job summary

ACS Staffing Solutions is recruiting Parcel Sorting Operatives for a busy international parcel sorting centre in Lutterworth. You will sort parcels onto the correct routes, work with automated conveyor belts and ensure items are ready for dispatch worldwide.

This temp-to-perm role offers the chance to secure a permanent position after a temporary period. shifts start at 10:00 or 12:00, with Sundays to Fridays work pattern (no Saturdays) and 8–12 hour shifts; training is provided and reliability,

Qualifications

• No prior parcel sorting experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Sort parcels onto correct routes, destinations and dispatch areas.

• Identify incorrectly sorted or damaged parcels and report issues.
• Work with the team to meet daily processing and dispatch targets.

Working in a fast-paced environment with modern automated conveyor belt systems, you'll help ensure parcels are sorted onto the correct routes and prepared for dispatch to destinations around the world.

What will you be doing?

• Sorting parcels onto the correct routes, destinations and dispatch areas.
• Working alongside automated conveyor belts and parcel sorting equipment.
• Loading, unloading and moving parcels safely around the centre.
• Scanning and handling parcels accurately.
• Identifying incorrectly sorted or damaged parcels and reporting issues.
• Working with your team to meet daily processing and dispatch targets.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.

Shift patterns

• Location: Lutterworth.
• Pay rate: £12.71 per hour.
• Working days: Sunday to Friday - no Saturday working.
• Shift patterns: Potentially 5 days out of 7, or specific fixed days depending on operational requirements.
• Start times: 10:00 or 12:00.
• Shift duration: Approximately 8-12 hours, depending on the shift and operational needs.
• Flexibility is essential, as working days and finishing times may vary depending on the allocated shift pattern.
