Job summary

Gap Personnel is seeking a Warehouse Picker for a busy refrigerated warehouse in Wakefield (WF6). This temp-to-perm role offers fixed days and reliable hours, with training provided for success in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires headset-based picking, accuracy in order fulfilment, and safe handling of items in a chilled setting. Weekly shifts are Friday through Monday with day or evening options and progression to a permanent contract after the temporary period.

Pay Rates

• Days (6:00am – 2:00pm):Starting £13.00 per hour

• Afters (2:00pm – 10:00pm): Starting £14.98 per hour

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Pickers to join our team in a busy refrigerated warehouse environment in Wakefield (WF6).

The Role

As a Warehouse Picker, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders using headset voice-picking system. The role involves working in a refrigerated environment and regular manual handling, including heavy lifting.

• Available to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday every week

Previous warehouse or order-picking experience is desirable, but full training can be provided.

Shift Options

Days:6:00am – 2:00pm — Starting £13.00 per hour

Afters:2:00pm – 10:00pm — Starting £14.98 per hour

Working days:Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday – fixed days.

Temp to Perm

This is a temp‑to‑perm position, giving you the opportunity to move onto a permanent contract after successfully completing the temporary period.
