Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Loughborough is seeking a Material Handler I to join our warehouse team. You will help ensure products are received, stored, picked, packed and shipped accurately and efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards.

This full-time role (38 hours/week) runs Monday-Thursday 08:30-16:30 and Friday 08:30-17:00 for 12 months. Ability to read SOPs in English and work well in a team are essential; prior warehouse experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations (picking, packing, dispatch, or forklift driving).
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal SOPs in English.
• Willingness to support team goals and adapt to shift patterns/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Receiving & Put-Away: Receive deliveries/returns, unload items, check quantities against PO/ASNs, and book goods into the warehouse management system.
• Picking & Packing: Locate and assemble customer orders; package and label cartons/pallets for safe transit.
• Dispatch & Loading: Sort orders onto outbound routes and load delivery vehicles according to manifest sequences.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in efficiency and quality improvement projects (5S, Kaizen) and maintain productivity and safety targets.
