Job summary

Quest Employment are recruiting for Warehouse Picker & Packer roles at our client site in Lutterworth. You will join a busy warehouse operation on a 2pm-10pm shift, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £12.58 per hour and ongoing temporary work.

Responsibilities include picking orders with pick sheets or scanners, packing for dispatch, checking quality, stocking and maintaining safe, tidy working areas. DBS checks apply; prior experience is helpful but not essential.

• Packing orders securely and efficiently for dispatch.

• Checking products for quality and reporting any discrepancies.

• Labelling and preparing goods for shipment.

• Stock replenishment and maintaining accurate inventory.

• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe.

• Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.

• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse, picking, or packing experience is preferred but not essential.

• Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE), or holding a valid MHE licence (such as Reach Truck, Counterbalance, PPT, LLOP, VNA or similar), would be highly beneficial but is not essential.

• This is a temporary ongoing role with the opportunity for long-term work.

• All successful candidates will be required to undergo a DBS check prior to starting work. This is a mandatory requirement set by our client.

• Shift finish times are dependent on workload and operational requirements. As a result, finish times cannot be guaranteed and may vary from day to day. Applicants must be flexible and willing to work until the day's workload has been completed.
