Job summary

Travail Employment Group is recruiting a Warehouse Operator for a permanent role in South Gloucestershire (Pucklechurch). The shift runs 7am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week with overtime.

Salary up to £30,000 per annum plus benefits in a busy warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will hold a full UK driving licence, have goods-in/goods-out experience, strong attention to detail, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Good attention to detail and literacy skills.
• Able to use Word, Excel and Email and operate a WMS.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process goods in.
• Check deliveries against purchase orders.
• Book stock into the warehouse management system.
• Pick components and finished goods and pack orders.
• Prepare for despatch and load/unload vehicles.
• Some forklift truck work; may involve occasional deliveries or collections.

Warehouse Operator- up to £30,000 per annum plus overtime. Based in South Glos - Permanent position working 7am to 4.30pm (45 hrs per week) Mon to Fri. Benefits include 30 days holiday, Pension, On-site parking, Lunches provided.

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operator to join our successful client based in Pucklechurch, South Gloucestershire. Reporting to the Team Leader and working as part of a small warehouse and assembly team, this role will suit someone who has previous experience working in goods in / goods out within a warehouse environment. A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role may involve some delivery work (adhoc).

Duties of the Warehouse Operator will involve:

• Receiving and processing of Goods In
• Checking deliveries off against purchase orders
• Booking stock in on the warehouse management system
• Picking components and finished goods, checking against lists and packing orders
• Preparing for despatch
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Some FLT work

In addition the candidate will be required to carry out some deliveries or collections on a adhoc basis as well as some customer visits, so must have a full UK driving licence. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong literacy skills and a basis understanding of computers (including Word, Excel and Emails). A counterbalance forklift licence would be ideal, however this is not essential as training will be provided.
