Job summary

Gap Personnel is recruiting for 50 Warehouse Operatives at a Severn Beach site on an ongoing, temporary-to-permanent basis. A 7-day-a-week bus service is provided from East Bristol and West Bristol, with multiple pick-ups to help you get to site. Shifts run 0600-1400, 1400-2200 (rotating weekly) and 2200-0600.

Pay starts at £13.81 for day/late shifts, £14.87 for night shifts, with overtime rates of £17.26 and £18.32 after 37.5 hours. Christmas bonus payable for 4+ shifts weekly.

Qualifications

• Be able to work shifts reliably.
• Have a good English level.
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Driving Lollop picking truck to assemble orders.
• Goods in, unloading, handballing.
• Booking stock onto warehouse management system.
• Palletising stock and putting away.
• Replenishment of stock locations.
• Loading HGV and goods out.
• Despatch and checking.
• Working to health and safety standards.

Job description

Our client based in Severn Beach are recruiting for 50 Warehouse Operatives on an ongoing, temporary to permanent basis.

A bus will be provided 7 days a week at £3.50 per journey from East Bristol, city centre and out West Bristol with multiple pick ups to enable colleagues to get to and from site, this will start in approximately 3 weeks and run 7 days a week.

The client is a growing retail business with a fantastic state of the art Distribution Centre & has an inclusive and diverse workforce. The site has staff rest areas with lockers provided & canteen with vending machines & microwaves.

Shifts available

0600-1400/1400-2200 Rotating weekly

2200-0600

All shifts are over 7 days following a shift pattern, a shift rota will be discussed and agreed with you prior to commencing induction

Pay

£13.81 for day or late shift

£17.26 Overtime after 37.5hours

£14.87 for night shift

£18.32 overtime after 37.5 hours

Christmas Bonus Payment, if you work 4 or more shifts per week £0.50 per hour worked in that week will be retained & paid in a Xmas bonus the week before Christmas.
