Job summary

Alexander Steele are delighted to be supporting a successful manufacturing business in Snodland in recruiting a Nightshift Warehouse Operator. You will join a busy warehouse team, moving goods and materials across the site while coordinating with Production, Engineering, QA and Hygiene teams.

The role requires experience with counterbalance and high-reach forklifts, stock control systems, and a flexible attitude to shift patterns, overtime and holidays, on a 6pm–6am night shift, four days on and

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Counterbalance and High Reach Forklift licences with practical experience.
• Experience using stock control systems and basic computer skills.
• Understanding of stock accuracy and record keeping.
• Flexible approach to shifts, overtime, and holiday cover.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Customer order picking.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Receiving goods and storing stock in warehouse locations.
• Picking materials and ingredients for production.
• Putting away finished goods from production into racking.
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Providing cover for team members when required.
• Supporting other departments as needed.
• Completing general ad hoc warehouse duties.

Working as part of a busy warehouse team, you will support the efficient movement of goods and materials across the site while working closely with Production, Engineering, QA, and Hygiene teams.

Responsibilities

• Customer order picking.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Receiving goods and storing stock in warehouse locations.
• Picking materials and ingredients for production.
• Putting away finished goods from production into racking.
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Providing cover for team members when required.
• Supporting other departments as needed.
• Completing general ad hoc warehouse duties.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Counterbalance and High Reach Forklift Truck licences with practical experience.
• Experience using stock control systems and basic computer skills.
• Understanding of stock accuracy and record keeping.
