HR GO Recruitment is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Ashford, Kent. The role involves light and heavy lifting on a rotating 2-week schedule, with shifts 6:30 AM–2:30 PM and 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, Monday to Friday. You will support production lines, ensure quality, and maintain a clean warehouse.

Salary: £12.21 per hour
Shift Pattern: 2-week rotating schedule

• Week 1: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
• Week 2: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Job Overview:

Our clients are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals for Production Operator roles in their warehouse. This position encompasses light lifting and heavy lifting responsibilities, where operators will play a crucial role in our production process.

Key Responsibilities:

Light Lifter Role:

• Operate on the production line in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Handle light packaging tasks, including moving lighter products with precision and care.
• Maintain quality control standards by inspecting products as they move through the production line.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.

Heavy Lifter Role:

• Perform manual lifting and moving of heavier products within the warehouse.
• Responsibilities include shovelling rubbish and maintaining a clean warehouse environment.
• Move and pack heavy bottles and other materials as required.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations while performing manual work.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in production or warehouse environments, particularly in fast-paced settings.
• Strong physical fitness for heavy lifting roles; must be able to lift and move heavy items as needed.
• Ability to complete both shift patterns (6:30 AM - 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM).
• Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
• Willingness to undergo training provided by the employer.
