Job summary

GE Aerospace in Bishop's Cleeve, UK, is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse/Dispatch operative to support daily packing and dispatch activities. You will verify goods, pack to specification, record C of Cs and pack slips, and move stock within a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role requires good communication, attention to detail, and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems. A forklift license is desirable, and BPSS clearance may be required for the position.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge in material handling for aerospace environments.
• Ability to receive, verify, process and receipt goods into dispatch areas.
• Familiarity with packing, stock control and data recording.
• Awareness of BPSS clearance and right to work guidelines in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support Packing/Dispatch Team in daily shipping processes.
• Receive, verify, process and receipt goods into the dispatch area.
• Pack goods to prescribed specifications.
• Record supplier C of C's and pack slips.
• Drive company vehicle onsite to collect goods from predetermined points.
• Identify and action non-conformances.
• Communicate queries to the appropriate person.
• Update business system with packing data.
• Comply with Dispatch Procedures and perform system/paperwork checks.
• Move and track stock; maintain housekeeping and stock control.
• Support other areas as required.

Job Description

• To support Packing/Dispatch Team in daily shipping Process.
