Job summary

Manpower UK Ltd is recruiting a Despatch Operative (Packer) in Gloucester for a 12-month PAYE contract. The role starts at £13.59 per hour during training, rising to £15.10 after probation, with a 2-week days/2-week nights schedule after probation and a 30% uplift for night shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or packing experience.
• Good computer skills and attention to detail.
• Current valid forklift licence.

• Oracle R12 experience and Known Consignor qualification are a bonus.

Dispatch Operative (Packer)

Our client is seeking a Despatch Operative to join their team on a 12-month PAYE contract. The rate is £13.59 per hour during training, rising to £15.10 per hour after successful probation. The role will be working 2 weeks on days and 2 weeks on nights after probation period, a 30% up;ift is given for the night shift.

This role involves packing products, parts, materials, and tooling for shipment across the UK and internationally, ensuring everything is packed safely, securely, and to ATA300 standards. You'll also support despatch admin, check shipping documentation, and operate a forklift truck to load freight and move assembled propellers.
