Job summary

JDR Recruitment is hiring Order Pickers for their Bilsthorpe depot in NG22. The role covers coldstore and ambient environments with permanent progression for the right candidates. Weekly inductions start soon, with paid induction period.

Shifts run Sunday to Friday 5pm–1am or Sunday to Thursday 5pm–1am; a full PPE kit is provided and immediate starts are available. Training on PPT and MHE will be given.

Qualifications

• Candidate will perform order picking of palletised stock.
• Training provided for PPT and other MHE to move stock safely.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg during handover and loading.

Job description

Join one of the UK's leading temperature controlled supply chain providers as an Order Picker in their state-of-the-art Bilsthorpe facility.

JDR Recruitment Limited (Mansfield) are working in partnership with one of the UK's leading providers of temperature controlled supply chain solutions and we are now recruiting for Order Pickers to join their Bilsthorpe depot.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering temporary-to-permanent employment for the right candidates. Immediate starts are available with inductions weekly, with limited spaces, so early applications are strongly encouraged.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Working in the either the frozen, ambient or chilled departments, candidates will be required to order pick palletised stock
• Candidates will be trained in the use of PPTs and other MHE to move stock safely around the warehouse
• Use of PPT and MHE to move stock safely around the warehouse
• Processing of inbound/outbound orders safely and accurately
• Handballing items off lorries, with heavy lifting of up to max. 25kg
• Candidates with experience operating a PPT or other MHE equipment in a warehouse environment are preferred though training will be provided

Shift Pattern

• Sunday to Friday, 5pm - 1am with Saturday nights always off, + 1 night in the week - still 5/7 days working
• Sunday to Thursday - 5pm - 1am

Pay Rate

• £13.32 per hour + up to £100 a week (per week night shift allowance if all shifts completed)
• Overtime rate paid after 39.5 hours at time and a half
• Weekly shift bonus - £55 for Sun-Thurs or £100 per week for 5/6

Location

The site is based in Bilsthorpe, NG22, - just 15-20 minutes from Mansfield (approx. 9 miles east) and 20-25 minutes from Newark (approx. 10 miles west) via the A617. Please note, own transport needed as this location isn't accessible by public transport.

Induction and Start Date

We have weekly inductions, commencing on Sundays each week. The induction a week long, working 4m-1am Sunday to Thursday for the first week. The induction is fully paid.
