Job summary

JDR Recruitment Limited (Mansfield) are recruiting for Reach Truck Drivers to join their Bilsthorpe depot. This temp-to-permanent opportunity offers immediate starts in both ambient warehouse and cold store environments.

Candidates must have Reach Truck experience and ideally hold an RTITB/ITSSAR certificate; full in-house reassessment is possible for expired certs. Own transport is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Reach Truck safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
• Move and store palletised stock throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload stock from racking and designated storage areas.
• Support the movement of inbound and outbound goods.
• Ensure stock is handled safely and accurately.
• Work to health and safety procedures at all times.
• Carry out general warehouse duties when required.
• Work in either ambient or cold store environments depending on role.

JDR Recruitment Limited (Mansfield) are working in partnership with one of the UK's leading providers of temperature controlled supply chain solutions and are now recruiting for Reach Truck Drivers to join their modern Bilsthorpe depot.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering temporary-to-permanent employment for the right candidates, with immediate starts available.

There are opportunities available working in both the ambient warehouse and cold store, giving candidates the opportunity to work within different areas of the operation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently within the warehouse
• Moving and storing palletised stock throughout the warehouse
• Loading and unloading stock from racking and designated storage areas
• Supporting the movement of inbound and outbound goods
• Ensuring stock is handled safely and accurately
• Working to health and safety procedures at all times
• Carrying out general warehouse duties when required
• Working within either the ambient or temperature-controlled cold store environment, depending on the role

Candidates must have previous Reach Truck experience. Ideally, candidates will hold a current RTITB or ITSSAR-accredited Reach Truck certificate, although expired certification can be considered as a full in-house reassessment will be carried out.

Please Note:

Some positions will be based within the temperature-controlled chilled environment. Full PPE is provided for the cold store.

Shift Pattern:

4 on 4 off, 6pm - 6am

This is a regular 12-hour shift pattern, providing a consistent working rota and will include weekends.

Pay Rate:

£15.33 per hour + £60 weekly shift allowance

The shift allowance is paid weekly, subject to meeting the applicable criteria.

Location:

The site is based in Bilsthorpe, NG22, approximately 15-20 minutes from Mansfield (around 9 miles east) and 20-25 minutes from Newark (around 10 miles west) via the A617.

Own transport is essential, as the site is not accessible by public transport.

Induction and Start Date:

Immediate starts are available.

Inductions and site walkarounds take place regularly, allowing candidates to see the working environment and understand the role before starting.
