Job summary

Pixl in Hertfordshire is seeking a Warehouse Operative to maintain inventory, prepare equipment, and support technicians during live and studio events. You will help fulfil orders, process returns, and ensure accurate stock records while upholding safety and organisation.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure. Core hours are Monday–Friday 09:00–18:00, with occasional overtime during busy periods.

  • Stock-taking experience is desirable.
  • A forklift licence is preferred.
  • Experience working with event audio, video, or lighting equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the warehouse and equipment preparation areas in a clean, organised, and efficient condition.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety requirements and company policies to help maintain a safe working environment.
  • Support the Warehouse Manager with day-to-day warehouse operations and additional duties as required.
  • Assist technicians with picking and scanning equipment to fulfil customer orders accurately.
  • Help prepare equipment for upcoming projects and deployments.
  • Ensure equipment is tracked correctly throughout the fulfilment process.
  • Assist technicians with the return of equipment following projects and events.
  • Report damaged equipment and shortages promptly to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance of accurate stock records.
  • Load and unload vehicles efficiently and safely.
  • Communicate professionally with colleagues, couriers, and delivery drivers.
  • Help ensure equipment moves smoothly through the warehouse operation.
  • Core hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00.

What You'll Do:
Support Warehouse Operations:
  • Maintain the warehouse and equipment preparation areas in a clean, organised, and efficient condition.

Coordinate Logistics:
  • Load and unload vehicles efficiently and safely.
  • Communicate professionally with colleagues, couriers, and delivery drivers.
  • Help ensure equipment moves smoothly through the warehouse operation.
