Job summary

Pixl is seeking a logistics coordinator to oversee end-to-end equipment movement for live and studio events across the UK. You will coordinate collections, deliveries, and returns, organise shipment schedules, and create transfers and purchase orders within the inventory system.

You will source equipment solutions, resolve PO and invoice discrepancies, and support show emergencies with accurate records. Strong communication and MS Office 365 proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in logistics and transportation.
  • Working knowledge of carnet manifests.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when maintaining records and documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate competing logistics demands.
  • Effective communication skills when working with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and transportation partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate equipment collections, deliveries, and returns with end-to-end ownership of the transportation process.
  • Organise shipment schedules to ensure timely delivery while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Create equipment transfers, purchase orders, and support orders within the inventory tracking system to manage equipment movement and warehouse activity.
  • Generate inquiries, negotiate pricing, and secure cross rentals from third-party vendors when additional equipment is required.
  • Resolve purchase order and invoice discrepancies related to cross-rented equipment.
  • Support internal teams with equipment solutions during show emergencies and inventory shortages.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with carriers, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Serve as a key point of communication to address transportation challenges and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Proactively identify shipment delays or risks and communicate updates clearly and early.
  • Monitor transportation activity and maintain accurate logistics records and documentation.
  • Support equipment planning and forecasting efforts designed to maximise asset utilisation and reduce operational spend.
  • Contribute to the reliability and efficiency of equipment deployment throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Assist Production Assistants with quotations, project coordination, logistics planning, and shipment tracking.
  • Provide administrative and operational support across office functions as required.

What You'll Do
Keep Equipment Moving

Support Project Execution
  • Assist Production Assistants with quotations, project coordination, logistics planning, and shipment tracking.
  • Provide administrative and operational support across office functions as required.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management.
What You Bring
