Job summary

Neg Earth Lights has an opportunity for an experienced Goods In/Out Operative to join the Warehouse Team. The role ensures equipment is processed and serviced to the highest and safest standard, ready for clients within agreed timescales.

You will work alongside highly skilled technicians in our Park Royal facility, handling loading/unloading, stock control, and close coordination with project teams and transport partners to ensure smooth, safe operations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in warehouse or goods in/out operations.
  • Good knowledge of lighting equipment or related industry is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Instigating the loading and unloading of deliveries and collections.
  • Ensure all information regarding equipment in and out is processed appropriately.
  • Continual liaison with warehouse and office departments to relay information timely.
  • Stock management using stock control systems and scanners.
  • Coordinate with project teams, drivers and transport companies for timely transport.

About You & the Role:

Neg Earth Lights have an opportunity for an experienced Goods In/Out Operative to join the Warehouse Team. The purpose of this role is to ensure that Neg Earth's equipment is processed and serviced to the highest and safest standard. You will be part of a professional operations team that ensures the equipment is ready for clients in agreed timescales, working alongside highly skilled technicians with some of the industries leading technology and brands.

Your Duties:
  • Instigating the loading and unloading of deliveries and collections
  • Ensure all information regarding equipment in and out is processed appropriately
  • Continuous liaison with all warehouse and office-based departments ensuring operational information is relayed in a timely manner
  • Stock management of equipment using the company stock control system and handheld scanners, ensuring stock levels in the stock management systems accurately reflect the equipment held in the warehouse
  • Maintain effective communication with the project team, warehouse departments, company drivers and external transportation companies to ensure the safe, efficient and timely transportation of equipment
  • Manually loading and unloading stage lighting equipment - various size vehicles
  • Picking, prepping and roller painting stage lighting trusses, metal work and woodwork
  • Prepping and de-prepping stage lighting systems
  • Assembling stage lighting metalwork and woodwork
  • Cleaning cases, equipment, aluminium trusses
  • Warehouse housekeeping
  • Standard companywide responsibilities
  • Any other duties as required/authorised by your line manager/reporting line
  • Comply with all health and safety requirements
  • Comply with all policies and procedures
  • Ensuring work areas are kept in a clean and tidy manner
Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Essential Skills:
  • Competent in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams and have proven experience of using and understanding a rental stock control system
  • Good overall knowledge of stage lighting equipment or similar industry
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Desirable Skills:
  • Current FLT Licence
  • First Aid training
  • Experience in preparation and repair
