Job summary

Kinetic Industrial is seeking a Warehouse Operative / Yard Operator for their Kirkhill site in Aberdeen. You will support daily warehouse and yard operations, handle equipment, and ensure safe, accurate receiving, storing and dispatching of goods.

This role requires previous warehouse/yard experience, valid FLT Counterbalance B3 and Combi M3 licences, and good IT skills (SAP advantageous). The position offers a 6-month contract with potential to go permanent and overtime at time and a half.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse/yard/industrial experience.
• Current or recently expired FLT Counterbalance B3 and Combi M3 licences.
• Good IT skills; SAP experience advantageous.
• Experience handling heavy equipment or engineering materials beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, store and dispatch stock, tooling and equipment.
• Operate FLTs and other material handling equipment safely.
• Carry out stock checks and update inventory records using SAP.
• Load and unload deliveries, securing heavy equipment with ratchet straps.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, health and safety.
• Work closely with logistics, workshop and operational teams.

Warehouse Operative / Yard Operator

Location: Kirkhill, Aberdeen

Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour, depending on experience

Contract: 6 months, with potential to go permanent

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm (37.5 hours per week)

Overtime: Available at time and a half

The Role
