Job summary

Berry Recruitment are looking for a Warehouse Operative with a Counterbalance Forklift License to support a client in Terrington St Clements. The role involves picking, packing and dispatching orders, and operating a forklift as required, within a small team.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with two 30 minute breaks. This is a temporary 6–8 week position with the opportunity to go permanent.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift License.
• Experience in picking, packing and dispatching orders.
• Good IT skills for booking deliveries and dispatching orders.

Berry Recruitment are looking for a Warehouse Operative with a Counterbalance Forklift License to support a successful client in Terrington St Clements.

Working as part of a team of three, you will be responsible for the accurate picking, packing and dispatch of orders. The role involves traditional hand pick-and-pack warehouse duties including operating a forklift, along with supporting the team with other tasks when required.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Preparing and dispatching orders for delivery.
• Booking deliveries and arranging courier collections.
• Using IT systems to process orders and dispatches.
• Loading and unloading goods safely.
• Operating a forklift where required.

Requirements:

• Good attention to detail.
• Good IT skills as you will be booking deliveries and dispatching orders.
• Willing to work with the small team on other tasks when required.
• A valid Counterbalance Forklift License.

Hours:- Monday to Friday, 8:00am until 5:00pm, with 2x 30 minute breaks.

Rate of pay:- £17.12 per hour UMBRELLA.

This is a temporary position for 6-8 weeks with the opportunity to go permanent.
