Job summary

Heron Foods in Melton distribution site near North Ferriby is seeking motivated Warehouse Operatives to join a high‑performing team. You'll work on a fixed rota across three 12‑hour shifts (10am–10pm) in Freezer, Chilled or Ambient areas, using voice‑picking tech to assemble store orders.

Our Warehouse Operatives play a vital role in ensuring our stores receive accurate, timely deliveries; helping us provide great value to customers across more than 340 stores, seven days a week.

About the Role

You’ll work three 12‑hour shifts per week, 10am–10pm, on a fixed rota depending on the shift pattern you choose. Working within our Freezer, Chilled, or Ambient chambers, you’ll pick stock orders using a voice‑activated headset and prepare cages ready for delivery to stores. This is a hands‑on, active role where you’ll work to targets and contribute directly to the smooth running of our distribution operation.

• Work within Freezer (down to -25°C), Chilled, or Ambient environments with full PPE provided
• Manage your time effectively to achieve pick targets and performance standards
