Job summary

Heron Foods is seeking Warehouse Operatives at our Melton distribution site near North Ferriby. The role offers 40 hours per week across five 8-hour shifts (2pm–10pm) on a two-week rolling rota with every other weekend off. You will pick stock using a voice-activated headset in freezer, chilled or ambient zones.

No prior warehouse experience is required as full training is provided, with opportunities for progression and a range of benefits including bonuses, weekly pay, and staff discounts.

About the Role

You’ll work 40 hours per week across five 8‑hour shifts, 2pm–10pm, on a two‑week rolling rota with every other weekend off. Working within our Freezer, Chilled, or Ambient chambers, you’ll pick stock orders using a voice‑activated headset and prepare cages ready for delivery to stores.

This is a hands‑on, active role where you’ll work to targets and contribute directly to the smooth running of our distribution operation.
