Hillarys Blinds Limited is seeking a Warehouse Operative for our Colwick site. You will manage receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch while maintaining high accuracy, safety, and efficiency standards.

The role involves stock control, data entry, and general warehouse duties with opportunities for forklift training. A proactive, detail-oriented team player is essential in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to tasks.
• Good IT skills including MS Word and Excel.
• Experience or working knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
• Understanding of Health & Safety best practices in a warehouse environment.
• Proactive and flexible attitude, willing to support across tasks.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Good problem-solving ability and a positive approach to challenges.
• Good level of physical fitness to meet role demands.
• Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, or production environment is desirable.
• Forklift experience or licence is desirable; training can be provided.

Responsabilités

• Receiving, checking, and documenting incoming deliveries.
• Safely unloading goods and storing them in correct locations.
• Processing contract manufactured goods per procedures.
• Accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Carrying out stock control tasks, including counting and rotating stock.
• Updating systems and completing administrative tasks, including data entry.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
• Following Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
• Operating warehouse equipment (including forklifts, where trained).
