Job summary

Sealey Tools in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Warehouse Operative (Service Centre) to join our team on a permanent basis. The role involves unloading containers, putting away stock, picking and packing orders, and loading consignments for despatch.

The hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm. A comprehensive benefits package includes 22–25 days holiday, pension, life assurance, health plan, staff discount and on-site parking.

Here at Sealey, we are seeking to recruit a Warehouse Operative (Service Centre) to join our team based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. You will join us on a permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.

Responsibilities as our Warehouse Operative (Service Centre) will include:

• Unloading containers from suppliers by hand
• Putting away bulk stock
• Picking and packing orders for despatch
• Loading packed consignments by hand from the conveyor into a stand trailer
• Stock housekeeping - re-locating stock, tidying picking locations etc.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.

What we're looking for in our Warehouse Operative (Service Centre):

• You must be reliable and flexible in your approach to work
• Numerate and literate, with good attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to work well in small teams
• Experience is not necessary as training will be provided but willingness to learn and to work as a team
