Sealey is recruiting a Trainee QC Engineer to join our team in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The role is permanent with a structured development path, full training on inspection and measuring equipment, and progression within the QC function.

You will perform visual and dimensional inspections, verify product specifications, and learn to interpret standards. No prior QC experience is required, but you should show attention to detail, problem-solving, and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out visual and dimensional inspections of products.
• Using measuring and test equipment to verify product specifications.
• Carrying out functional and performance testing.
• Reviewing product specifications, drawings and technical information.
• Identifying and recording product defects and non-conformances.
• Assisting with investigations into product quality issues.
• Recording inspection and test results accurately.
• Working with other departments to help resolve product quality issues.
• Learning to interpret relevant product standards and technical requirements.

Your responsibilities

• Carrying out visual and dimensional inspections of products.

Training and development

Full training will be provided, including the use of inspection and measuring equipment, product testing techniques, quality procedures and the interpretation of technical specifications and standards. The role is intended to provide a structured development route, allowing the successful candidate to build their technical knowledge and progress within the QC function.
