Pertemps Bond in High Wycombe is seeking a Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver (3.5T - 7.5T). This full-time role combines warehouse duties with driving cover for deliveries, using 3.5T vans and, where licensed, 7.5T vehicles.You will pick, pack and dispatch orders, perform stock checks, and assist with collections. A valid UK driving licence (Category B) is essential; CPC and extra licences are desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (Category B) with 3.5T van experience.
• Experience in warehouse tasks: picking, packing and delivery.
• Ability to lift and handle bulky items; reliable and flexible team player.

Responsabilités

Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver (3.5T - 7.5T) Location: High Wycombe Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexibility as required Salary: £29,120 to £31,200 dependent on experience

Are you a hands-on, reliable individual who enjoys a varied role? We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver to join a busy and established specialist manufacturing and distribution business in High Wycombe. This is primarily a warehouse-based position, supporting the smooth running of stock, order preparation and dispatch operations. The successful candidate will also provide driving cover when required, operating 3.5T vehicles and, where appropriately licensed, a 7.5T vehicle. Candidates with experience driving 3.5T vans are encouraged to apply. A C1 licence and Driver CPC are advantageous but not essential.

Warehouse Duties

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch and collection.
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Move, organise and store stock within the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised working environment.
• Label parcels and pallets and prepare courier documentation.
• Assist with customer collections and basic warehouse administration.

Driving Duties (As Required)

• Provide delivery cover using 3.5T vans and, where licensed, a 7.5T vehicle.
• Deliver goods professionally and on time to customers.
• Complete delivery paperwork and proof of delivery records accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Comply with drivers' hours regulations and tachograph requirements when operating 7.5T vehicles.

Health & Safety

• Follow all warehouse and transport Health & Safety procedures.
• Adhere to safe manual handling practices and load security requirements.
• Contribute to a safe working environment for colleagues and customers.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Full UK driving licence (Category B) with experience driving 3.5T vans.
• Previous warehouse, picking and packing, or delivery experience.
• Ability to undertake regular lifting, loading and handling of bulky items.
• Reliable and flexible approach with a positive team-focused attitude.
• Willingness to support different areas of the operation as required.

Desirable

• Category C1 (7.5T) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Experience completing multi-drop deliveries.
